Eudella Long Bowling

Eudella Long Bowling, 101, of Austin, Indiana passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 in Hampton Oaks Scottsburg, Indiana.
She was born on December 24, 1921 in Booneville, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Robert Long and Mary Long. She was married to Ernest Bowling, who passed away June 10, 1999.
She was a member of the Booneville Presbyterian Church and attended Austin Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 70 years and was a volunteer for the Scott Memorial Hospital Guild for 14 years. Eudella was a big U.K. Basketball fan, a great cook and a wonderful Mother. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include: one daughter: Phyllis Cowles of Scottsburg, Indiana, sons: Tony (Cathy) Bowling of Austin, Indiana, Ronald (Donna) Bowling of North Vernon, Indiana. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Eudella was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest and 5 brothers.
Funeral service: 12:00 noon Friday, September 29, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana. Visitation was from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana. Burial followed in the Harrod Cemetery, Austin, Indiana.
