Brandon Kevin Gabbard

Brandon Kevin Gabbard, 38, Booneville, Kentucky-beloved son, brother, and uncle was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.  

Brandon was born in Lexington on May 30, 1986, to Mitchell and Ruth Ann Gabbard.  

     Brandon touched many lives with his kindness and generosity. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, spending time with his niece Blakeleigh, and his cats. He was a cherished member of John 316 House of Worship. 

     He leaves behind his parents Mitchell and Ruth Ann; his sister, Whitney; his niece Blakeleigh; a special aunt, Sylvia along with 3 aunts,  6 uncles, and a host of family and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mitchell and Gracie Gabbard; and maternal grandparents, Parnell and Nancy Roberts. 

 Pallbearers : Josh Edwards, Kenneth Roberts, Ernest Roberts, Hillyard Roberts, Graham Cockerham, Brian Rickabaugh 

     Visitation was at Searcy & Strong Funeral Home in Booneville, Kentucky on Friday , September 6, 2024 6:00 pm-9:00 pm.   Funeral was held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Sister Rose Roberts officiating. He was laid to rest at the Johnson Cemetery at Spencer’s Ridge, Beattyville, Kentucky.
