Emergency Road Aid Funds Awarded to Owsley County

JACKSON, Ky.  – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet on Monday, August 4, 2025 announced that the Owsley County Fiscal Court will receive $40,190 in County Road Aid emergency funds for slide repairs on Upper-Lower Wolf Creek Connector.

“The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Owsley County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community,” said Transportation Secretary Jim Gray. 

The slide to be repaired is 0.452 miles west of Lower Wolf Creek Road.

The Owsley County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
